From a 261 kWh cabinet to multi-MWh storage
SANA Energy's main line of work today is designing and delivering energy storage systems (ESS) for commercial and industrial users. The smallest building block is a 261 kWh cabinet. A few cabinets together reach about 1 MWh, and higher capacities use containerised systems of 2 to 5 MWh.
Larger projects are built by paralleling those same blocks: a 20 MWh system, for example, is four 5 MWh systems. The work starts with a load analysis and sizing, and runs through design, supply, installation, commissioning and support after handover.
